God's Grace in David's Life

“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise: and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty:”  (1 Cor 1:27)

 

I was born in a Christian family. My dad (Pastor Gali Gangaraju) is a Church pastor. Even though I was born in a Christian family I could not experience the joy of salvation until I was 11 years old. God saved me when I was 11 years old while I am studying my 7th standard.

 

One fine evening as we sat for family prayer, the Holy Spirit convicted me and I realized that I am a sinner and I started to cry to God for His forgiveness. Then I was filled with the joy of the Lord.

 

By the grace of God I have memorized 1,000 Scriptures from the Holy Bible.  My dad Pastor Gali is the inspiration to memorize the Word of God.

 

As I was reading Bible, I was touched by the words of Christ in Matthew 28:19,20

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

 

When I read these verses, I felt that God is just telling me to do this for the fulfillment of Great Commission. So when I completed my school, I went to BibleCollege for training. By the grace of God, I was earned Diploma of Christian Studies in Administration and Bachelor of Theology from Hindustan Bible Collegeand Master of Divinity from Madras Theological Seminary.

 

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people: that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:” (1 Peter 2:9)

 

By the grace of God, I have written two books and translated four books from English to Telugu. The one that I wrote on prayer called “Meaningful Prayer – Praying According to the Word of God” and another one for Kids called "Animals and Birds of the Bible". These books are being great blessing to many people around the World. Glory to God

 

During all these years God used me in many ways and using me in different ministries such as Translating, Street Preaching, Village Ministry, Children Ministry, Church Ministry and Prison Ministry. I am so thankful to God that even though I am not worthy, but still God’s grace enabled and enabling me and will enable me to serve God through out my life.  

 

Please pray for my spiritual growth that I may increase in giving thanks to God and in spending time with Him personally that I may have the mind that Christ Jesus has.
